Over the head, close the neck

Slip it on from the front and close the neck fastening so there's no gap for the wind.

Belly strap, two-finger check

Fasten the belly strap flat so two fingers slide under it. Loose is where a coat rides up.

Let it dry, then brush

Hang it up after a wet walk and brush the mud off once it's dry. Cold, gentle wash when it needs one.

How do I measure my dog for size?

Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail along the back, then check chest and neck against the size guide. Between two sizes? Size up if there's a jumper going on underneath.

Is it actually warm, or just thick?

Both — the honeycomb-quilted shell holds its loft rather than compressing flat, and the brushed fleece lining keeps the warmth close on cold, still days and windy ones alike.

Will the reflective piping actually show up at night?
