IS IT FOR YOU?

Straight answer, both ways.

We'd rather you skipped this one than returned it.

Yes, if…

  • ✓ You've got a large dog that pulls hard and needs a lead that won't slip through your hand
  • ✓ You want a proper handle built for a two-handed grip, not a thin loop
  • ✓ You want to pick the length, not take whatever comes

Probably not, if…

  • → You've got a small or lightweight dog — this is built heavier than that needs
  • → Your dog lunges and you want the jolt absorbed — that's the Elastic Lead
HOW TO USE IT

Getting it right

Owner walking a large dog on the Form Padded Lead on an open trail
1

Clip on

Attach the bolt snap to the collar or harness D-ring and check it's seated with a full click.

Form Padded Lead in Sky Blue
2

Grip the handle, not the webbing

The reinforced handle is built to take the load — hold that, not the strap further down.

3

Shorten up near traffic

Take a wrap round your hand at kerbs and gates; let it out on open ground.

4

Check the clip

Give the bolt snap a firm tug before every walk.

ASK AWAY

Questions we actually get.

Which length should I pick?

+
S (120cm) for close control in town and near traffic, M (150cm) as the everyday all-rounder, L (180cm) for open ground where you want to give more room.

Is the handle padded?

+
It's reinforced and shaped for a two-handed grip — built for control first rather than softness.

Will it hold a dog that pulls hard?

+
That's what it's built for — heavy-duty webbing and a heavy-gauge clip. For a dog that pulls constantly, pair it with a harness rather than a collar.

Does it work with the Form Harness?

+
Yes — clip it to the harness D-ring.

Elastic Lead or Padded Lead?

+
Padded Lead if you want firm, direct control. Elastic Lead if your dog lunges and you'd rather the jolt was absorbed.

Is it machine washable?

+
No — machine washing stresses the stitching at the handle. Wipe it down and let it air dry instead.

How much is delivery?

+
Free on UK orders over £20, £3.99 below that.

How long does it take to arrive?

+
5–12 working days, tracked from dispatch. You get the tracking number by email.

What if I ordered the wrong size?

+
Send it back within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging, and we refund you.

Who pays return postage?

+
You do for a change of mind. We do if the item arrived faulty.

How do I claim on the guarantee?

+
Email a photo and your order number to support@fell.pet. We confirm within 24–96 hours and ship a free replacement.

BUILD THE KIT

Kit out the big dog. Tick what goes with it.

The lead's already in. Add a harness to clip it to, bags and treats for the walk, a seat cover for the drive back, and it all goes in the cart together.
