Will a harness stop my dog pulling?

No — a harness makes pulling safer, not rarer. It moves the load off the throat and onto the chest. Stopping the pulling itself is training.

Which is better, the harness or the collar?

Different jobs. Most people use both: the collar for the ID tag and everyday wear, the harness for the walk. A dog that pulls should be walked on a harness.

Where does the lead attach?

To the ring on the harness. The Form Lead's bolt snap fits it directly.

What's the top handle for?

Close control — crossing a road, passing another dog, lifting into a car boot. It's for a moment, not for carrying the dog's weight over distance.

Is the reflective piping enough for night walks?

It makes your dog visible from the side under headlights, which is the angle that matters most on a road. It's a visibility aid, not a substitute for a light on a dark lane.

Can I machine wash it?

No. Wipe it down and air dry — machine washing softens the Oxford's structure, which is the thing doing the work.
