How it's made

Two layers, one job each.

The velvet is what you see and what your dog feels. Underneath it, a structured nylon core takes every bit of the pull, so the outer stays a surface and never becomes a stress point. That separation is the whole design.

The buckle closes with a clean click and the D-ring sits flush against the webbing — no proud edge for a lead clip to catch on, no rocking that works the rivet loose over a season of walks.

Sage green velvet outer

soft against the coat, holds its colour

Structured nylon core

carries the load so the velvet doesn't have to

Brushed gold buckle and D-ring

Fully adjustable across all four sizes

GETTING THE SIZE RIGHT

Measured, not guessed.

Neck

Two fingers flat

between the collar and the coat. Tighter and it rubs. Looser and it slips.

Measure the base of the neck, not the head

Size Width Length (neck)
S 2.0cm 20—29cm
M 2.0cm 27—41cm
L 2.5cm 33—51cm
XL 2.5cm 37—60cm
1

Measure

Run a soft tape around the base of the neck with the dog standing.

2

Add two fingers

Slide two fingers flat underneath to get the fitted measurement.

3

Take the mid-range size

The lead in that size comes with hardware scaled to the same load — you don't choose separately.

Not sure?

Have you measured the neck yet?

IS IT FOR YOU?

Straight answer, both ways.

We'd rather you skipped this one than returned it.

Yes, if...

  • Your dog walks fine on a collar and you want it still looking right next spring
  • You want the ID tag and the lead on the same ring
  • You'd rather buy one collar than three

Probably not, if...

  • Your dog pulls hard — the Form Harness moves the load off the throat
  • You want a choice of colours; there is one colourway, done properly
Why collars fail

Most collars are sold twice.

The first one looks right in the photo. Six weeks later the plating has gone from gold to grey, the webbing has furred at the buckle, and the D-ring has worked itself loose enough that you check it every time you clip on.

That's not bad luck. It's what happens when a collar is built to survive the delivery van and nothing after it. Thin webbing, sprayed hardware, a single row of stitching at the load point. It costs less to make and it costs you again in three months.

US VS THE OTHER ONE
Built to last. Not to replace.

Premium materials and thoughtful design mean you buy once, not twice.

HOW TO USE

One size covers both

1

Measure

Run a soft tape around the base of the neck, where the collar will actually sit. Not the head, not the shoulders.

2

Add two fingers

Slide two fingers flat underneath to get the fitted measurement.

3

Take the mid-range size

Every size adjusts. Landing in the middle of the range leaves room in both directions.

THE LONG RUN

What five years actually looks like .

Every piece is built to last five years of daily use. Here's what that actually means.

Week 1

It arrives and it fits

If the size is wrong, send it back inside 30 days. Unused and in its packaging, no questions asked.

Month 6

The point most kit gives up

Six weeks to six months is where cheap hardware greys, stitching frays and fill goes flat. If any of that happens here, it's a defect and it's covered.

Year 2

It looks used, not worn out

Both pieces age at the same rate, which is the point of buying them together.

Year 5

Still covered

The guarantee runs the full five years against manufacturing defects. Email a photo and your order number and a replacement ships free.

Covers manufacturing defects under normal use. Doesn't cover chewing damage, loss, or wear beyond what the product is designed for.

ASK AWAY

Questions we actually get.

Will the gold hardware wear off?

+
No. It's brushed gold, not sprayed plating over a base metal, so it wears evenly rather than flaking back to grey. If the finish fails within five years, the guarantee covers it.

Is velvet practical for a dog collar?

+
The velvet is the outer surface, not the structure. A nylon core underneath carries the load, so the velvet only ever has to sit against the coat. It handles rain and mud fine — wipe it down and let it dry flat.

Does it come with a lead?

+
No, this is the collar on its own. The matching Form Lead is £21.99, or the Collar & Lead Set is £33.99 — £5.99 less than buying the two separately.

My dog is between sizes. Which do I take?

+
Take the larger one. Every size adjusts across its full range, and starting in the middle of a larger size leaves room in both directions.

Can I attach an ID tag?

+
Yes. The D-ring takes a lead and a tag together without sagging.

What does the five-year guarantee actually cover?

+
Manufacturing defects under normal use — stitching, buckle, D-ring, plating. Not chewing damage or loss. Email us with a photo and your order number and we replace it.

How much is delivery?

+
Free on every UK order, with no minimum spend.

How quickly does it ship?

+
Dispatched within 1-2 working days of your order.

What if the size is wrong?

+
Send it back within 30 days, unused and in its original packaging, and we refund you.

Who pays return postage?

+
You do for a change of mind. We do if the item arrived faulty.

How do I claim on the guarantee?

+
Email a photo and your order number. We confirm within two working days and ship a free replacement.
IN PLAIN ENGLISH

Three words that actually mean something .

Every brand writes these on a label. Here is what they do.

Structured nylon

Woven webbing with a stiffener running through it, so it holds its width instead of curling into a rope under load.

Velvet

A short, dense pile. Here it is the outer surface only — the pulling is done by the nylon underneath.

D-ring

The flat metal loop the lead clips to. Set flush against the webbing so nothing catches on it.

GET IT WRONG

The three things people do anyway .

Not a warranty clause. Just what the return emails keep saying.

1
Measuring the head instead of the base of the neck.
2
Machine washing it — the velvet flattens and does not come back.
3
Clipping the lead to the tag ring rather than the D-ring.
LOOKING AFTER IT

What to do, and when.

After each use
Wipe both with a damp cloth and dry flat.
Every week or so
No machine washing.
Every few months
Check the wear points. Material that is softening is normal. Material that is fraying, splitting or lifting is not — that is a defect, and it is covered.
Any time in five years
If it fails under normal use, email a photo and your order number. We confirm within two working days and a replacement ships free.
